| In the aftermath of Ariel
Sharon’s provocative visit to the Temple Mount
the Palestinians began a series of street demonstrations
that became known as Intifada 2. Neturei Karta International
located in New York and their Palestinian branch issued
statements condemning the brutal Israeli response to
the protests.
